THAT the agenda be adopted as printed and circulated.

THAT the minutes from the January 14, 2021 Council meeting be adopted as printed and circulated. Regular Council January 20, 2021 Page 2 of 5

That Council authorize the projected 2020 Operating surplus be transferred as follows: 1. $100,000.00 to the Modernization Project Reserve. 2. $468,243.18 to the Surplus/Deficit Reserve.

THAT the Director of Finance be authorized to finalize the 2021 Budget for a public meeting on February 17, 2021, with a proposed levy of $ 8,927,328.50.

THAT the Township of Zorra agrees with the Town of Amherstburg and supports the resolution passed by the City of St. Catharines on October 5th, 2020 regarding Schedule 6 of Bill 197, COVID 19 Economic Recovery Act 2020; AND THAT staff send correspondence, including the St. Catharines resolution, confirming our support for giving final approval for landfills within their jurisdiction to the “host municipality” to: • Premier Doug Ford, • Steve Clark, Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, • Jeff Yurek, Minister of Environment, Conservation and Parks, • Ernie Hardeman, MPP for the riding of Oxford, • Town of Amherstburg, • City of St. Catharines, and • All municipalities within the County of Oxford.

THAT By-law 05-21, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council held January 20, 2021, be read a first, second and third time this January 20, 2021; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the same and affix the corporate seal thereto.

THAT this session of Council be now adjourned and herewith closed at 10:38 a.m. and the next meeting of Council be called for January 27, 2020, at 9:00 a.m. virtually through a zoom meeting.
