Regular Council

THAT the presentation by the delegation from the Zorra Caledonian Society, Embro & Agricultural Society and Embro Soccer Association (the proponents) be received and field; AND THAT Council approves in principle the Embro Pavilion project; AND THAT Council directs staff to work with the proponents to develop a plan regarding design, location, usage, capital and operating costs and any other relevant information; AND THAT staff provide Council with a report, including a suggested funding plan, no later than December 15, 2021.

THAT items 10(a) - (c) be received and filed for information purposes only.

THAT items 11(a) - (b) be received and filed for information purposes only.

THAT by-laws 64-21, 65-21, 66-21, and 67-21 be taken as read a first, second and third time and finally passed; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the same and affix the corporate seal thereto.

THAT Council move into closed meeting session at 6:58 p.m. pursuant to Section 239.2 (d) labour relations or employee negotiations.

THAT Council authorize the creation of a Customer Service Clerk position effective November 2021.

THAT By-law 68-21, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council held October 20, 2021, be read a first, second and third time this October 20, 2021; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the same and affix the corporate seal thereto.

THAT this session of Council be now adjourned and herewith closed at 7:55 p.m. and the next meeting of Council be called for the November 3 2021, at 9:00 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Township Municipal Office.
