THAT the CAO and Director of Public Works be instructed to seek a legal opinion regarding contractual obligations at Zorra Maintenance Facility with respect to drilling of geothermal wells and connectivity of the system.

THAT Report 2023-002 from the Legislative Coordinator/Deputy Clerk be received and filed; AND THAT Robert Swayze be appointed as the Township of Zorra's Integrity Commissioner and Closed Meeting Investigator effective February 1, 2023; AND THAT the Mayor and Clerk be authorized to execute the necessary agreements related thereto.

THAT by-laws 01-23, 02-23, 03-23 and 04-23 be taken as read a first, second and third time and finally passed; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the same and affix the corporate seal thereto.

THAT By-law 05-23, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council held January 18, 2023, be read a first, second and third time this January 18, 2023; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the same and affix the corporate seal thereto.

THAT this session of Council be now adjourned and herewith closed at 11:41 a.m. and the next meeting of Council be called for February 1, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Township Municipal Office.
