THAT the agenda be adopted as printed and circulated

THAT the minutes from the June 4, 2025 Council meeting be adopted as printed and circulated.

THAT the Council meeting be adjourned at 6:15 p.m. for the purposes of holding a public meeting pursuant to the provisions of the Planning Act. AND THAT Council move into the Committee of Adjustment for the purpose of hearing Minor Variance Applications.

THAT the Township of Zorra Committee of Adjustment approve Application File A09-25z, submitted by Katherine Benko for lands described as Part Lot 3, Concession 5, (West Zorra) in the Township of Zorra municipally known as 395135 39th Line, as it relates to: Relief from Section 5.4.2.4 - Table 5.4.2.4 – Provisions for Detached Additional Residential Units: i) to increase the maximum permitted distance from the principal dwelling from 30 m (98.6 ft) to 80 m (262.4 ft), to recognize the existing detached Additional Residential Unit on a property zoned ‘Limited Agricultural Zone (A1)’ in the Township of Zorra.

THAT the Township of Zorra Committee of Adjustment approve Application A11-25z, submitted by Richard Verhallen for lands described as Parcel 1-1, Plan M19, Lot 1, and municipally known as 1 Pamela Court in the Township of Zorra, as it relates to: 1. Relief from Section 5.1.1.3, Table 5.1.1.3 – Accessory Use Provisions, to permit a residential accessory building within the required exterior side yard; 2. Relief from Section 5.1.1.3, Table 5.1.1.3 – Accessory Use Provisions, to permit an increased maximum height from 4.0 m (13.2 ft) to 4.3 m (14.2 ft). 3. Relief from Section 11.2, Table 11.2 – Zone Provisions, to permit a reduced exterior side yard width of 8 m (26.2 ft) whereas 10 m (32 ft) is required; To facilitate the construction of a detached accessory structure located within the required exterior side yard in the ‘Residential Type 1 (R1) Zone’ in the Township of Zorra. Subject to the following condition: That the proposed relief shall only apply to an accessory structure of the approximate size and location as depicted on Plate 3 of Report CP 2025-182.

THAT Council move out of the Committee of Adjustment, and pursuant to the Planning Act that the public meeting be adjourned at 6:26 p.m. and the regular meeting of Council be called back to order.

THAT Council approve the 2025 Asset Management Plan included in Report 2025-068 from the Asset Management Specialist.

THAT item 11(a) be deferred to the July 2025 Council meeting.

THAT items 12(a) - (c) be received and filed for information purposes only.

THAT by-laws 25-25, 26-25, and 27-25 be taken as read a first, second and third time and finally passed; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the same and affix the corporate seal thereto.

THAT By-law 28-25, being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of Council held June 18, 2025, be read a first, second and third time this June 18, 2025; AND FURTHER THAT the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to sign the same and affix the corporate seal thereto.

THAT this session of Council be now adjourned and herewith closed at 7:27 p.m. and the next meeting of Council be called for the July 16, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. in the Council Chambers at the Zorra Municipal Centre.
